What this site is, and what it refuses to be

PourCraftBar is a reference for building an alcohol-free drink bar at home and using it well. It is organized around three things that link into each other: stations, which say what goes on the counter and in what order; drinks, written as proportions rather than as stories; and a short list of techniques that decide how nearly all of them turn out.

The tone throughout is a bartender-turned-barista talking to someone with a normal kitchen. That means specific quantities where a quantity matters, and an honest “it does not matter” where it does not. If a step is only there because it looks impressive, it is not on the page.

How the content is checked

Technique, station and troubleshooting pages cite published sources — food-safety guidance, university extension publications, standards bodies and industry associations — and those citations appear at the bottom of the page rather than being implied. Where the published record is thin or disagrees, the page says so instead of picking a side silently.

Four things this site does not do

It does not test products personally. There is no lab here, no sample closet, and no claim anywhere on the site of having personally handled a dozen of anything. Product write-ups come from manufacturer specifications, and where the specification is silent, the page does not fill the gap with a guess.

It does not publish prices or star ratings. Both go stale faster than the pages do, and both invite a kind of shopping that has nothing to do with whether a tool suits the job. Product order in a lineup is set by the job the category exists to do.

It does not give medical or nutritional advice. Nothing here should be read as a health claim, a treatment or a dietary recommendation. Caffeine, sugar and citrus all affect people differently, and this site is not the place to work out how they affect you.

It is alcohol-free throughout. Not in recipes, not as an optional addition, not in the glossary. Where a drink here resembles a classic cocktail, it is a mocktail on its own terms and it is written to work as one.
